Chrissy Teigen shares the touching gift daughter Luna left on urn of her late little brother's ashes

Chrissy Teigen has shared a heart-wrenching video showing the offering her "incredibly empathetic" daughter left on the box containing the ashes of her little brother Jack, who died after being born prematurely at 20 weeks.

The supermodel explained that her 4-year-old had decorated the small white urn by placing a therapy teddy bear around it and leaving a piece of her favourite snack on top.

"A tiny piece of Pirate's Booty," Chrissy said in the clip.

"This is the cutest, most beautiful thing I have ever seen," she added.

A second video uploaded by Chrissy showed Luna sitting in front of Jack's ashes and introducing herself and the teddy, saying: "I'm Luna. How you doing today?"

In the caption of her post, Chrissy said that the family home was "very open about life, death, grief, everything really".

"We try to explain things well and answer every question imaginable in a beautiful, spiritual but literal way," she wrote.

"I know this is a weird post but I just wanted to share these to always remember my incredibly empathetic little mini. Life is infinitely better with her in it. I miss you, Jack. we miss you a lot."

The cookbook author and mother chronicled the day of Jack's death in a heartbreaking essay for Medium, detailing how she and her family said goodbye to her son in the hospital.

"I asked the nurses to show me his hands and feet and I kissed them over and over and over again. I have no idea when I stopped. It could have been 10 minutes or an hour," she wrote.

Chrissy said that she and husband John Legend planned to scatter Jack's ashes under a tree at their new home.
