Halloween 2020: The best and weirdest costumes from Kim Kardashian, Lizzo, Kylie Jenner and more

Halloween was definitely a little different in the age of coronavirus - trick or treaters took extra precautions, parties were fewer and smaller, but one thing remained the same: the celebs of the world dressed the hell up and posted the results on Instagram.

It didn't matter if they were preparing for a low-key evening at home, or organising a full green-screen photoshoot, the stars were determined not to let the holiday pass them by without serving a spooky look or two - from Spiderman to the fly on Mike Pence's head

Here are the best and weirdest celebrity Halloween costumes of 2020:

Lil Nas X

The 'Old Town Road' hitmaker stunned with his uncanny impression of Nicki Minaj in her 'Superbass' video, prompting fellow rapper Iggy Azalea to tell him "you just won Halloween". Major bonus points for procuring the same glass motorcycle from the music video.

Lizzo

Not satisfied with just one Halloween look, Lizzo turned out two - both dripping with equal parts sex appeal and irony. In one of the most topical costumes of the season, the 'Juice' singer became the infamous fly from the Vice Presidential debate, complete with video footage of her twerking on Mike Pence's head.

Next, the Lizzo transformed into the literal personification Cardi B's hit song 'WAP' (that's Wet Ass P**y, if you still weren't sure) by dressing as a sexy damp cat by a pool.

 Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

After an incredibly tough year for the couple, it was heartwarming to see John and Chrissy embrace the Halloween spirit dressed as Spiderman and the ballerina from Black Swan. Couple goals, as ever.

Kylie Jenner

In her typical understated style, Kylie got her squad together for their unique take on the Power Rangers (pretty sure the originals didn't have colour coordinated wigs and mini skirts).

Plus, not to be outshone, she held her own private shoot dressed as a king cobra complete with a custom outfit from French fashion house Mugler. See? Totally chill, right?

Rebel Wilson

Rebel Wilson's Rona Warrior Princess costume - that is a warrior princess who defeats coronavirus, to my understanding - has been making headlines for showing off her new slim figure, but her killer nunchuck skills have been sorely underappreciated. See for yourself.

Cardi B

In perhaps the least logistically practical look of the year, Cardi B squeezed her bod into a giant snake tail, transforming into a raunchy version of Medusa who might be able to turn you to stone with one glance, but would likely have a tough time slithering her way to the upstairs bathroom at the party.

The Weeknd

The 'Blinding Lights' singer absolutely takes out the award for Least Recognisable with his Nutty Professor outfit, which featured a wig, fake teeth, face and hand prosthetics and a fat suit. Impressive? Yes. Comfortable? Almost definitely not.

Kim Kardashian

With another 'this costume has a one year expiry date' moment, please welcome Kim Kardashian, her mate Jonothan and her children, dressed as Tiger King's Carole Baskin, Joe Exotic and some unnamed tigers respectively. Kanye wasn't keen, then?
