The full list of 2021 Golden Globe nominations has been released and Sacha Baron Cohen has celebrated his multiple nods by mocking Rudy Giuliani.
Donald Trump's lawyer featured in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm in a scene where he puts his hand down his pants while taking a female reporter into the bedroom of a hotel suite.
Baron Cohen has tied the Golden Globes record for most nominated actor in a single year with nods for both the Borat sequel and The Trial of the Chicago 7.
"Wawaweewah! I'm shocked and humbled to be nominated for three Golden Globes," the British funnyman said on Twitter.
"We're so honoured - and just in case we don't win any, I've already hired Rudy Giuliani to contest the results."
Giuliani infamously led Trump's legal efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 US presidential election, which failed spectacularly.
Baron Cohen's three nominations in a single year is a record he shares with Jamie Foxx and Helen Mirren.
Elsewhere in the nominations, the Golden Globes made history by nominating three women in the Best Director category - the first time ever men have been outnumbered.
Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman has also been posthumously nominated for an acting award.
The ceremony will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on February 28 in the US (February 28 in New Zealand).
