'For real?!': The Edge's Meg Mansell pranks stunned coworkers with pregnancy reveal

The Edge radio host Meg Mansell had her coworkers shocked, confused and screaming with delight when she surprised them with her pregnancy announcement.

Meg let her colleagues think they were sitting down to film a TikTok together only to announce: "I'm pregnant!" and capture all their reactions on camera.

"Are you actually?" fellow broadcaster Marty Hehewerth questioned, before the group dissolved into applause and squeals of joy.

Meg announced she and her husband, former Edge workday radio host Guy Mansell, were expecting their first child on air on Friday morning.

"I am still early, I've decided to announce early. I am ten weeks pregnant," Meg said during the show.

"I decided to be open with you guys and I know some people think that's a silly decision but it's my choice, my body and if something were to happen I would be open with you guys about that as well anyway.

"We've been trying for the past six months, we're quite lucky to have this happen."

The breakfast host shed happy tears as she described finding out she was expecting.

"We're having a little baby, by Christmas! It's so overwhelming. I want everyone to know, I'm so happy."

Guy and Meg got engaged in 2018 and were married last year.
