Watch: Full Friends reunion trailer released

The full Friends reunion trailer has finally been released.

The trailer for the highly-anticipated reunion shows the iconic cast reminiscing in Monica's apartment. All of the original stars make an appearance including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer as they reenact famous scenes and reminisce about filming the hit show.

It's the first time the six stars have appeared on screen together since the 10-season long series ended in 2004.

The show, which is hosted by James Corden, also features some Friends regulars including Maggie Wheeler (Janice), James Michael Tyler (Gunther), Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles (Jack and Judy Geller), Larry Hankin (Mr Heckles), Thomas Lennon (Joey's hand-twin), Tom Selleck (Richard Burke) and Reese Witherspoon (Jill Green).

It will also feature celebrity appearances from  David Beckham, Lady Gaga, Kit Harington, Justin Bieber, BTS, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling and Malala Yousafzai.

The reunion began filming in April after months of COVID-19 delays.

HBO Max, the US streaming platform behind the reunion, confirmed the original stars would star in an unscripted interview-style special back in February 2020. But as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold a few weeks later, filming was delayed.

"Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together - we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library," Kevin Reilly, former chief content officer at HBO Max, said at the time of the announcement.

The special will air on HBO Max, a US-based streaming service which launched in May. It will also air all 236 episodes of the show.
