Art and Matilda Green welcome baby Autumn

New Zealand reality TV stars Art and Matilda Green have announced the birth of their second child.

Matilda posted the first adorable photos of baby Autumn Green on Instagram on Wednesday, captioning the picture: "She made it!"

"The newest member of our whānau Autumn Green arrived on Sunday night at home, and she is just perfection," she continued in the post.

The Greens already have one child, a son named Milo born in 2019. Matilda added that Milo "is loving his new role as big brother".

"I think the family member who has the most to recover from is [the dog] Buster who witnessed his first birth and probably now needs therapy."

It appears then that baby Autumn was born in a home birth, just as the couple's first son was in a dramatic delivery during a power outage.

The couple said their first experience of home birth was what they had "hoped and planned" for, calling it "an incredible experience". However, the move did draw criticism - particularly from one anonymous 'South Island Doctor' who wrote a since-deleted article for the NZ Herald slamming the pair for publicising "risky" home births . Other experts defended the move.

Art and Matilda are the only success story from the Aotearoa version of The Bachelor after meeting on the show's first season in 2015.
