Jacinda Ardern reveals Masked Singer NZ character she was most curious about

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern laughed off a grilling about whether she had appeared on The Masked Singer NZ, but revealed she had been watching and was particularly curious about one contestant.

During an interview on More FM on Tuesday morning, Ardern was asked if she was the show's Pavlova character, which the radio hosts thought might be fitting off the back of her recent meeting with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

"I am not the Pavlova on the Masked Singer," Ardern laughed.

The Labour Party leader did demonstrate she had seen some of the show, however, and wanted to know: "Have they revealed the Jellyfish? Who was the Jellyfish?"

Viewers of Sunday night's episode will know that The Bachelor 2015 winner Matilda Green was unmasked as the Jellyfish after singing 'You Don't Own Me' by Saygrace ft G-Eazy.

"She was seven months pregnant!" More FM host Lana Searle advised the Prime Minister.

"Ah, there we go! Forgive me, I dip in and out of these things," Ardern replied.

The Masked Singer NZ airs on Three on Sunday at 7pm and Monday at 7:30pm. Previous episodes can be viewed on ThreeNow
