Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa is working hard to have a kissing scene with a man cut out from her upcoming movie Bounce

The YouTube star spoke with Entertainment Weekly about her latest project, saying she didn't want the smooch to make the final cut because she's "madly in love" and "does not want to kiss another human... especially because it's a man."

Siwa came out as a member of the LGBTQ community earlier this year before going public with her relationship with girlfriend Kylie Prew, who Siwa said was fine with the on-screen kiss.

Still, the 18-year-old dancer said she was keenly aware that fans watching the film might have trouble separating her role as a teenage girl named Franny from her real-life self as JoJo Siwa.

"That's what they look at me as, not some character, not some fictional thing. And so it's going to be a little weird [if I'm kissing a man]," she explained.

"I'm not about it. I'm trying to get it pulled so bad. It'll happen. It'll get pulled," Siwa insisted.

Bounce is based on the book by Megan Shull and is described as a heart-warming story about a teenage girl who wishes she could trade her family for a new one on Christmas Eve. Her wish is granted and she finds herself 'bouncing' into the lives of other girls and living Christmas Day, learning important lessons along the way.
