Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker may have just gotten married in Vegas

Rumours are swirling that Kourtney Kardashian and her relatively new boyfriend Travis Barker may have gotten married in Las Vegas, and there's mounting evidence on social media to support the speculation.

Exhibit A

A series of Instagram snaps of the happy couple shared by Kardashian's hairstylist, along with a very revealing caption.

"...NOW I understand why people tie the knot in Vegas. There's nothing like love AND a good time," celebrity hairdresser Glen Oropeza wrote, along with a chapel emoji and a ring emoji, which was later swapped out for a black heart.

Shockingly, despite the not-so-drastic emoji editing, Instagram users began to twig that there might have been a special occasion for the Las Vegas vacation.

"Did you just break major news? Lol" asked one commenter.

"Stop messing with us!" wrote another.

Exhibit B

Another compelling piece of evidence is an Instagram Story post by Travis' daughter Alabama, who wrote "so happy for you guys" alongside one of the photos of the loved up couple striding through the hallways of a hotel triumphantly holding hands.

Okay, so it's possible that Alabama was simply referring to being happy that her dad found love with his reality star girlfriend, but their relationship has been public since early this year so that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Also, can we talk about the way they're very clutching hands, looking very meaningfully at one another, and walking down various hallways that perhaps could mimic a wedding aisle in a symbolic kind of way in every photo? I know the Kardashians are famous for staging impromptu photoshoots for no reason, but even by their standards, these ones seem odd.

Exhibit C

Thirdly, and bear with me, because we're nearly there, there's Kourtney's cryptic captions on her own photos, including "Swipe for a happy girl" and the even more suggestive "What happens in Vegas…"

Exhibit D

Finally, despite the fact it definitely would be inadmissible in court, I submit the E! News story published a day before the marriage-esque photo montage, insisting that Kourtney and Travis are "in it for the long haul" and have been discussing their future.

"It's a special love and they want to celebrate that and enjoy it," a source told E! News.

"Kourtney and Travis have talked about marriage," a second insider added. "It was an instant connection and bond ever since they became romantically involved."

So there you have it. Make of that what you will, and hand down your judgement as you see fit. We'll surely receive some kind of social media confirmation of the situation shortly - that, or just another extremely PDA photo of Travis groping Kourtney's butt, leg, or arm with his tattooed hands.

Only time will tell.
