Delta Goodrem forced to postpone New Zealand tour a second time due to COVID-19

Delta Goodrem has announced her New Zealand tour is postponed due to COVID-19 and her shows set for September and October this year will not go ahead as planned. 

It's the second time Goodrem has been forced to reschedule her 'Bridge Over Troubled Dreams' tour becase of the pandemic. 

"These are unprecedented times in which we find ourselves and the ongoing challenges resulting from the coronavirus pandemic are devastating," the Aussie singer said in a statement. 

"I never could have imagined that we would be forced to move my Bridge Over Troubled Dreams tour a second time. I want to thank you for your incredible support, patience and understanding through this very unique time. 

"There's nothing like being with everyone in person and filling the room with live music. I am so proud of the show we've put together and I know we were all looking forward to it this year but it will be something very special for us to look forward to sharing together in March and April 2022.”

Tickets purchased for the 'Born To Try' star's September and October shows remain valid for the updated tour dates, as follows: 

  • Wednesday March 30 - Bruce Mason Centre, Auckland 
  • Thursday March 31 - The Opera House, Wellington 
  • Friday April 1 - Town Hall, Christchurch
