Harry Potter star Tom Felton speaks out about 'scary episode' after collapse during celeb golf game

Tom Felton has reassured fans he's "on the mend" after collapsing during a celebrity golf game ahead of the Ryder Cup.

The Harry Potter star prompted concern when he suffered a medical emergency on the green last week. He was photographed looking very unwell and being held up by onlookers before being taken away on a golf cart.

"Hello everyone, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the lovely well wishes as of recent," he began.

"Bit of a scary episode, really - but on the mend, people have been taking really good care of me. So thank you very much to anyone who has sent messages of 'get well soon' because I am on the mend, officially."

The 34-year-old actor went on to pull out a guitar, singing "don't you worry 'cause Tom will be doing fine" before signing off.

"Right, I've got to go now, but thank you so much for your help," he concluded. "On the road to recovery!"

Felton didn't disclose what had caused his collapse, but his post was flooded with messages from relieved fans celebrating the news that he was okay.
