No Time To Die's Lashana Lynch on finally talking about new James Bond film

Not even COVID could stop Bond. He's back on the big screen where he belongs and breaking opening day box office records in the process.

It's Daniel Craig's last Bond, but he welcomes in a new 'Double O' agent into the fray.

Two years late, two years of hype, a full-noise right royal red carpet premiere and Bond 25 - No Time To Die - has finally burst onto big screens across the globe.

It's Craig's swan-song, with the franchise both celebrating him as it ushers in a new Double O.

"The people of this franchise, including Daniel who has done such an incredible, exquisite job at shifting Bond into an era that makes sense to me as a young Londoner. It's such an honour," actress Lashana Lynch says.

A Londoner, a brand new Bond agent, Lynch certainly seems to have James in her sights. Showing the world what she and her Bond besties are capable of has - of course - been a long time coming.

Asked how it feels finally getting to talk about the film, Lynch says: "It's a relief isn't it. It does though. I keep joking saying, 'so in 1805 we when we shot this film', cause it feels like that! It feels like such a long time ago but we have such vivid memories of being there it also feels like yesterday."

Opposite the new Double O and Bond is Oscar-winner Rami Malek, fulfilling a lifelong dream to be a Bond villain and take up residence in his own evil lair.

"To have my own villain's lair is something you can only dream about as a kid and that is realised. I am savouring every second of this."

No time to waste, audiences can now hightail it to watch No Time to Die,  witnessing a new era of Bond to come and a rich legacy full of memories for this 007.
