One fully vaccinated New Zealander will be offered two tickets to nearly all of the country's major live music events in 2022 as part of the 'Vaxstage Pass' competition.
A group of Aotearoa's key event promoters including Live Nation, Eccles Entertainment and Frontier Touring are giving away the chance to win a double pass to every single one of their festivals, arena and stadium tours next year.
The prize is being hailed as one of the "biggest ever offered up in live entertainment", and any New Zealand resident over the age of 18 who is fully vaccinated under the NZ COVID-19 vaccination programme can enter.
Artists set to play New Zealand shows next year under some of the promoters taking part include Lorde, Billie Eilish, LAB, Tyler the Creator, Tame Impala, Six60, Dua Lipa, My Chemical Romance, Snoop Dogg and Netsky, while passes to festivals like Rhythm and Vines, Northern Bass, Hidden Valley and Outerfields are also included.
The competition launched after Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that summer music festivals and large-scale events would require attendees to produce a COVID-19 vaccine certificate.
As well as being fully vaccinated, 'Vaxstage Pass' entrants will need to answer the question "Which live event are you most looking forward to seeing and why?" before the competition closes at 11.59 on Friday December 3.
The winner will be provided with the opportunity to receive two tickets to one performance of every one of the following events:
