The Killers announce New Zealand shows in 2022

Las Vegas rockers The Killers are bringing their Imploding The Mirage tour to Aotearoa in 2022.

The 'Mr Brightside' hitmakers will play Auckland's Spark Arena on November 21 and Christchurch Arena on November 25 before heading across the ditch for seven Australian shows.

The Killers released their sixth studio album, Imploding The Mirage, in 2020, and have since released a seventh entitled Pressure Machine earlier this year as touring remained on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2018, The Killers paid tribute to Kiwi music legend Neil Finn by covering Crowded House's hit 'Don't Dream It's Over' at their Auckland and Christchurch shows.

The band joins a slew of international acts slated to play New Zealand shows next year while the country continues to battle to get the Delta outbreak of COVID-19 under control. Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Kings Of Leon, Snoop Dogg and My Chemical Romance are among some of the overseas artists set to visit in 2022.

Tickets to The Killers' Auckland and Christchurch shows go on sale on Monday, November 15.
