Rihanna has seemingly responded to rumours she might be pregnant with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky's baby, according to a screenshot of a private message shared by a fan.
Tongues began wagging about a possible baby bump when Rihanna donned a clingy orange dress to be named a national hero of Barbados at a ceremony earlier this week.
The 'Diamonds' singer appeared to set the record straight when a fan named Jen messaged her to ask if there was any truth to the whispers of impending motherhood.
"Can I come to the baby shower sis!? True or not your babies are going to be beautiful. Sorry everyone's up in your uterus right now," Jen wrote to Rihanna.
Rihanna responded: "Haaaaa! Stawwwp! You ain't came to the first 10 baby showers! Y'all breed me every year dammit lol".
The legitimacy of the messages hasn't been confirmed, but Rihanna is known for conversing with her fans via private messages on social media.
"Her uterus said 'stay out of my damn business'," Jen captioned the screenshot on social media.
"I spit my water out when she said 'the first 10 baby showers'. Regardless, I'm happy for her either way, she's living life to the fullest!"
Rihanna has previously made it clear she does want to have kids someday - with or without a man. Speaking to British Vogue last year, the Grammy winner said she hoped she'd have "three or four" kids in 10 years' time, and that she'd be happy to go it alone if need be.
"Hell, yeah, [I'd have kids on my own]," she said at the time.
"I feel like society makes me want to feel like, 'Oh, you got it wrong...' They diminish you as a mother if there's not a dad in your kids' lives.
"But the only thing that matters is happiness, that's the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That's the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love."
