The Prime Minister has spent part of the long weekend baking a cake for her daughter Neve, and has shared the result on Instagram.
New Zealand's first daughter turned four recently and to mark the occasion Jacinda Ardern baked a ladybug cake.
In the Instagram post Ardern said it was her turn to do the baking this year and Neve requested a ladybug.
The PM also said she often refers to the birthday cake baking process as a "stress bomb."
"After several disasters underneath A LOT of icing, this was the result. All edible aside from the eyes (I resorted to sharpie on lollipops 😳) Happy Birthday Neve Te Aroha!" The post said.
