Travis Barker has been hospitalised in Los Angeles after cryptically tweeting "God save me" to his 1.5 million followers on the social media platform.

The Blink-182 drummer was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, by his side after reportedly suffering a medical emergency. It's currently unclear why he has been hospitalised.

The 46-year-old was photographed on a stretcher outside of the hospital with Kardashian, 43, following on foot. The reality television mogul was dressed in black with a hoodie covering her head.

Barker was also photographed as he was removed from the ambulance, holding up his right hand with his distinct skull and crossbones tattoo clearly visible. According to reports, Kardashian's security team tailed the ambulance in a black Range Rover.

Barker and Kardashian first arrived at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday morning (Wednesday morning, NZ time) to seek treatment for Barker's unknown ailment.

As per a report by TMZ, Barker was transferred to Cedars-Sinai as staff at West Hills Hospital decided the musician needed additional care.

At 5:45am (NZ time), Barker tweeted the simple but concerning message, "God save me" - a tweet that has since been liked more than 13,000 times.

Hundreds of Barker's fans have responded to the tweet, sending their well wishes and prayers and wishing him a speedy recovery from the mystery issue.
