Customers have said it's their "favourite shopping experience" and others say they've been rickrolled by it, but finally the New World Chaffers Wellington music playlist has been released - and Wellingtonians are loving it.

A post shared to the Facebook group Vic Deals captioned "For the connoisseurs...you never asked for this playlist, but here it is" had the supermarket's four-hour playlist attached.

And those who have filled their trollies while Abba blasted throughout the aisles are stoked to finally have the playlist at the touch of a finger.

"I think everyone has been asking for this! Amazing," one customer said.

"Omg such a good playlist," said another customer.

"Whoever is responsible for the music at Chaffers deserves a 400 percent raise," one said

"Sweet Caroline - Neil Dimond live always gets me," said another.

One said the BeeGees live concerts played while they browsed was "one great way to make me buy things I don't need".

Another shopper commented they definitely have lip-synced for their life while pushing around their trolly.

But some were devastated 'Believe' by Cher didn't make it to the playlist, which luckily has now been fixed.

"This grievous error has been rectified," the creator said.

The playlist includes hit songs from Dave Dobbyn, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston and has received over 230 likes so far.
