Heartbreak Island: Sexy show returns with its first-ever international cast

  • 03/07/2022

Winter might be well and truly underway, but turn down that thermostat - it's about to get hot.

Aotearoa's sexiest show, Heartbreak Island, is back and ready to take the temperature up a notch. For the first time, this steamy season will feature a sizzling international cast, with sexy singles from New Zealand, Australia, the UK and the US ready to find their perfect partner in tropical paradise - oh, and compete for $100,000.

Guiding the audience through the ups and downs of looking for love is new host, radio and television personality Clint Randell, who has become a familiar face on Aotearoa's small screens hosting the likes of The Masked Singer and Dancing With The Stars New Zealand.

"I couldn't wait to start shooting Heartbreak Island, this time with our first ever global cast. I cheered, laughed, teared up, stirred the pot, threw in a few twists, and made life-long friends," Randell said.

"I can't wait for Kiwi viewers to see it. Audiences are in for a real ride."

Set on the picturesque shores of Fiji, 16 contestants will pair up and be put to the test to see if they stay - or stray - from their partner. The Heartbreakers will face a series of challenges, including disruptors, to shake and stir the competition. It'll be up to them to figure out who's really there to meet their match and fall in love - and who's playing the game.
