The Queen has reportedly invited Harry and Meghan, and their two children Archie and Lilibet, to join her at Balmoral for the UK summer.

The Sun newspaper in the UK  reported a source from the Queen's Scottish residence as saying "Staff have been told to expect the full list of royals, including Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet."

But the Daily Mail has cautioned against this seeming like an olive branch is being offered to the Sussexes after years of rifts by saying "it is claimed the Sussexes would not spend time with other royals such as Charles and William" during the visit.

Another also claimed they would be "stunned" if the Sussexes showed up.

It's believed the Queen had a 15 minute visit with Harry and Meghan during her recent Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June, where she met namesake Lilibet for the first time.

Harry and Meghan left the UK in 2018 when they decided to step back from royal life and relocate to the US.

However, that move has been seen as widening the rift between Harry and his family, after he and Meghan appeared on a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

On Friday, it was claimed the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla had asked Harry and Meghan if Archie would have a "ginger afro" when it was revealed Meghan was expecting.

Sources claimed the comment from a new unauthorised book which looked at the rift between Harry and the royals was just "nonsense".
