Bombshell bullying claims at the hands of the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex have resurfaced, going as far as calling Meghan a "narcissistic sociopath'.
The new book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, written by The Times' royal correspondent Valentine Low, claims to lift the lid on life behind palace walls.
The book details jaw-dropping allegations against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with royal workers claiming treatment from the pair was so awful they started calling themselves the 'Sussex Survivors Club'.
"There were a lot of broken people," an insider told Low. "Young women were broken by their behaviour."
The book discusses how Meghan would allegedly verbally abuse staffers on numerous occasions - with Prince Harry often joining in.
One employee told Low the Duke and Duchess of Sussex called them multiple times to berate them over the phone.
"Every 10 minutes I had to go outside to be screamed at by her and Harry. It was, 'I can't believe you've done this. You've let me down. What were you thinking?'" they said.
A friend of Harry and Meghan's former private secretary Samantha Cohen, said Cohen was miserable working there and likened the job to "working for a couple of teenagers".
They said Cohen was screamed at by Meghan and Harry during a flight to Australia for their 2018 tour of the South Pacific.
While another ex-staff member claims Meghan once publicly shamed a young female worker in front of her colleagues.
"Don't worry. If there was literally anyone else I could ask to do this, I would be asking them instead of you," Meghan reportedly said.
Back in 2021, Buckingham Palace launched an investigation into bullying claims accusing Meghan of mistreating staff and leaving them "humiliated" and "shaking with fear".
The Palace hired a private law firm to investigate the accusations that stemmed from an article by The Times of London which said a complaint was filed by the couple's then communications secretary New Zealander Jason Knauf, in October 2018.
Despite Buckingham Palace saying it won't release the results of the report, which finished in 2022, Meghan is said to be happy with its results.
'Narcissistic sociopath'
Royal staff members have gone as far as to call Meghan a "narcissistic sociopath" in the new book.
A staff told Low that Meghan was behind the couple's departure from the Royal Family, with a former aide alleging it was premeditated.
In January 2020, Harry and Meghan announced their decision to step back from senior members of the Royal Family and moved to America, which was widely dubbed as 'Megxit'.
"Everyone knew that the institution would be judged by her happiness. The mistake they made was thinking that she wanted to be happy," a former aide told Low.
"She wanted to be rejected, because she was obsessed with that narrative from day one."
The shocking new allegations come as hints the royal rift between the family could be finally put in the past.
After the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles expressed his love for Harry and Meghan as they "build their lives overseas" in what may have been an olive branch to the couple.
