Blink-182's planned New Zealand reunion tour dates for 2024 are being pushed back a week, it's been confirmed.

The original line-up of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker announced they were reuniting for the first time in nearly 10 years for a tour and new single.

The world tour will kick off in March 2023 in Latin America and was due to conclude in New Zealand in February 2024.

However, tickets for the band's Australian gigs went on sale on Thursday (local time) and sold out instantaneously.

That led to Blink-182 adding four new Australian dates, meaning the planned Auckland and Christchurch shows have been rescheduled.

They were due to play Auckland's Spark Arena on February 23, 2024 before ending the tour at the Christchurch Arena on February 26.

Auckland's February 23 date at Spark Arena has been rescheduled to March 1 - Christchurch's February 26 date has been rescheduled to March 4.

Organisers say all existing tickets remain valid for the rescheduled shows without the need for exchange.
