Kim Kardashian is having to pay for extra security at her children's private school after former husband Kanye West revealed its name and location to the world.

The 'Gold Digger' rapper has been vocal on his Instagram about the children's education, attempting to get them enrolled at his private Christian school Donda Academy.

As well as his recent White Lives Matter controversy and anti-Semitic comments online, West has also said on Instagram that he's "back to shoot the school up".

TMZ reported the school has now employed extra measures, with sources saying someone could act on West's messages and pose a potential risk to the students and staff.

Kardashian hasn't responded to any of West's comments, or the report from TMZ.

West has been the centre of several controversies recently, most of which have been sparked from when he wore a controversial White Lives Matter top at his Yeezy fashion show in Paris.

Earlier this week, Twitter had to remove one of West's tweets for violating its rules, the same day his Instagram account was restricted for breaching the platform's policies.

In a tweet on Saturday night (local time), West wrote he was going to go "death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE [sic]".

"The funny thing is I actually can't be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda [sic]."

The post had since been deleted by Twitter itself. West had only just returned to Twitter on Friday following an almost two-year break.

In September, the 'Stronger' rapper issued a statement directed at his ex-wife in which he expressed remorse for how he had treated her amid their divorce.

"This is the mother of my children. I apologise for any stress that I have caused," he stated.

Kanye and Kim, who wed in 2014, were declared legally single in March and are co-parenting their four children - North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and three-year-old Psalm.
