Controversial social media star Andrew Tate attempts to clap back at climate activist Greta Thunberg after she roasts him on Twitter

Controversial TikTok star Andrew Tate has hit back at climate activist Greta Thunberg for roasting him on Twitter.

Tate had attempted to get under the Swedish climate activist's skin by boasting about how many cars he had.

"Hello @GretaThunberg I have 33 cars," he wrote. "My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad-turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start.

"Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions."

But Thunberg was quick to take Tate down a notch.

"Yes please do enlighten me. Email me at     smalld**kenergy@getalife.com," she said in response.

Tate, 36, responded to Thunberg's tweet by using one of her most well-known catchphrases, "How dare you[?]," which she said at the UN's Climate Action Summit in 2019.

Many people on Twitter were amazed at how quick-witted Thunberg was with her response to Tate.

"I did not see Greta burns Tate on my bingo card," one said.

"How much carbon was released by this burn? I'm guessing a lot," another wrote.

"The answer he deserves," said a third.

Nineteen-year-old Thunberg's response to Tate had nearly 2 million likes and had been viewed more than 100 million times at the time of writing.

Tate was recently banned from Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok over his concerning misogynistic comments he had made about women.

"A 19-year-old just out of high school might have had one guy from high school," he said in one video. "She's fresh and I can make an imprint on her."

He has also said rape victims should take on some of the responsibility and younger women are better to be in sexual relationships with.
