Illusionist David Blaine asks audience for help after stunt goes wrong

American illusionist David Blaine's stunt at a Vegas show took a turn for the worse after he landed poorly and dislocated his shoulder.

According to the Las Vegas Journal, the magician had a faulty landing during his In Spades tour at the Resorts World Theatre.

The stunt involved Blaine doing a 24-metre drop into a stack of cardboard boxes in the audience.

He landed poorly and ended up dislocating his shoulder mid-performance.

He shared a video to Instagram of several members of the crowd helping him pop his shoulder back into place, captioning it: "Wow, that hurt!"

After a short break to check on the injury, Blaine was back on stage and the performance continued.
