All 10 episodes of the first season of groundbreaking relationship series Couples Therapy New Zealand will premiere via ThreeNow on Wednesday May 17, Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ has announced.
The documentary series takes an inside look into how couples deal with real-life struggles and pulls the curtain back on therapy
'In the room' cameras track the highs and lows of couples in their sessions as a leading therapist tries to save their relationship.
International versions of the series have already been a hit overseas, with various global versions of the show being made.
Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ also revealed the therapist leading the couples through their discoveries and sessions will be Registered Psychotherapist Amanda Cox. She is an Auckland-based therapist who began working in the area of mental health almost 30 years ago.
"I'm grateful to the brave couples who have shared their struggles and challenges with me through this process," Cox said.
"I hope that viewers who resonate with these challenges in the show can find hope in their stories."
Across the 10 episodes of the series, viewers will witness relationship highs, lows and breakthroughs never before experienced on New Zealand screens.
The complete season one of Couples Therapy New Zealand will stream on ThreeNow from Wednesday May 17. Episodes will also be broadcast weekly on Three, starting at 8.30pm on Wednesday, May 17.
