King Charles has taken part in his first ceremonial birthday parade - a tradition known as Trooping the Colour that stretches back hundreds of years.
Thousands lined the streets of central London for a glimpse of the new monarch riding on horseback. But once again, it was his grandson Prince Louis who stole the show.
