Channing Tatum has excited the internet with photos of his DIY outfit at Taylor Swift's Eras concert in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The pictures show the Magic Mike star dancing and posing at the show in denim cutoff shorts, pink face jewels in the shape of a heart and a T-shirt emblazoned with the message, 'It's me, hi. I'm the daddy, it's me' - referencing two of Swift's hits, 'Anti-Hero' and 'Lover'.

Tatum was at the show with his 10-year-old daughter Everly, whom he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan.

Footage of the 43-year-old's antics has since been widely shared online, including by news presenter Gayle King in an Instagram post captioned, "A round of applause to [Tatum] who went all in!"

Other clips shared show Tatum receiving 'friendship bracelets', which are often traded at Swift's concerts.

Social media commenters have applauded the actor's commitment, with plenty of comments like "Best Daddy goes to Channing Tatum", while others have expressed an urge to rewatch the Magic Mike films after seeing the pics.

"Daddy, indeed," exclaimed Kase Wickman for Vanity Fair in an article that also praised Tatum's thrusting ability.

In June, Tatum made headlines for learning how to braid his daughter's hair.

Swift's acclaimed Eras Tour is coming to Australia in February 2024, but does not have any New Zealand dates scheduled.
