Sharon Osbourne has revealed she threw up for weeks in a row after trying to use weight loss drug Ozempic to try and shed some kilos.

Osbourne told Bill Maher on his Club Random podcast that she suffered badly from the side effects of the drug after using it.

She suffered nausea, and ended up having no appetite after taking Ozempic.

"For me, the first few weeks was f**king shit because you just throw up all the time. You feel so nauseous. After a couple of weeks, it goes," she said.

"You have a weight problem and you've tried everything, and then somebody says take this injection and you're going to be skinny."

She also revealed that even though she's no longer taking the appetite-suppressing drug, she doesn't get hungry.

Maher said taking weight loss drugs was like "playing the odds" to which Osbourne said there was no quick cure for weight loss and it required effort rather than a drug-related solution.

In June, comedian Amy Schumer hit out at Hollywood stars who she said were hiding their Ozempic use.

"Everyone has been lying saying, 'Oh smaller portions,'" Amy said.

"Like, shut the f**k up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things, or you got work done. Just stop (hiding it)."

Schumer had previously shared she underwent liposuction in January 2022, as well as procedures for her cheeks and chin.

The actress also revealed she used Ozempic herself "like a year ago", revealing it caused her to become "skinny" and "sick" and prevented her from playing with her three-year-old son Gene.
