L.A.B and a DJ set from The Avalanches will form part of the line up for the return of music festival Spring City to Auckland.
The one day event will take place on Saturday, November 25 after its 2022 debut in the Auckland Domain.
The inaugural event in the Domain saw over 10,000 people attend the one day festival - Groove Armada headlined the show.
L.A.B will perform in Auckland for the first time in two years. It'll be their first headline show in the City of Sails since selling out Mt Smart Stadium and Western Springs.
Organisers of the show say their biggest priority for the return of the festival is improving their footprint on the region.
"After our inaugural festival at Auckland Domain, we identified a number of opportunities to improve the festival," Kyle Bell of Endeavour Live said in a statement.
"There are some easy fixes, however, the biggest challenge we have put to our team and our customers is finding new ways in reducing the impact of the festival on the environment."
When asked for clarification by Newshub what challenges the one day festival faced, Bell said it was predominantly issues around continuing to implement a ban over single-use plastics and the need for those selling food to implement the use of compostable plates and cutlery.
"Partnering with Toitū Environcare, the festival has made the long term commitment to measure and reduce our carbon footprint - undertaking the first step of Toitū Net Carbon Zero Event Operations certification.
"[We need to ] Continue to implement best practice sustainability policies across the festival including single-use plastic ban, compulsory use by vendors of compostable plates and cutlery amongst other waste minimisation strategies."
Bell also said anything that worked from the upcoming event would be "passed on to future festivals run by Endeavour Live."
Tickets for the one day festival go on sale Monday September 4.
