Auckland's Spring City music festival has been postponed, with organisers citing "scheduling conflicts".

The one-day event for November 2023 was only announced on September 1.

L.A.B and a DJ set from The Avalanches were named as part of the line-up.

In a statement sent to Newshub, organisers of the festival promised refunds would be offered and a new date set for the event at the Auckland Domain.

"Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, this event can not go ahead on the current date and the organisers have made the difficult decision to postpone," it said.

"A new date has not been set but we will be in touch when this happens.

"Refunds will be made available by Moshtix within three-to-five business days."

A statement on the ticket retailer Moshtix said early on Wednesday that customers would receive an email "shortly".

"This event have been cancelled and tickets are no longer available for sale. If you've purchased a ticket for this event you will receive an email shortly with details of your refund."

The show held its 2022 debut in the Auckland Domain, which saw over 10,000 people attend. Groove Armada headlined.

L.A.B was due to perform at Spring City, marking the band's first live return to Auckland stages in two years.
