Chris Hipkins reveals choices in round of 'kiss, kick or marry' on The Project

Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has chosen to kiss Christopher Luxon in a game of 'kiss, kick or marry' on The Project - claiming he'd "want it over and done with".

The Labour leader was given the option to choose from three cards on Monday, consisting of Te Pāti Māori co-leader Rawiri Waititi, National leader Luxon and ACT leader David Seymour.

"Kick David Seymour, it's really a no-brainer," Hipkins started off. "Although I'm narrowing down my options for the other two."

"Kiss Christopher Luxon because you want it over and done with quite quickly," he added, much to the amusement of the audience.

"And I'd marry Rawiri Waititi, 'cause you're never quite sure what's going to happen next with the Rawiri, so you'd have a very interesting life," Hipkins said.

"He's got some strong views, but we could work together.

"Labour, Te Pāti Māori and the Greens aren't the ones saying we'll force another election if we can't work together."
