AM co-host Melissa Chan-Green has shared a new picture of her daughter Mabel with the AM team on her return to the show on Tuesday.
She had been off-air since April to have her second child with husband, Caspar.
However, she said she didn't think Mabel looked "like me or my husband."
"I'm excited to be back, a little nervous that I don't know what I'm doing," she confessed moments before the show started on Tuesday, before revealing she had been surprised by what it was like being a new mother again.
"When Mabel was born, there was a part of me naively that thought I've done this before and then I thought 'what do you do with a newborn again'," she said.
"It's like riding a bike," co-host Ryan Bridge offered, before Chan-Green shared a picture of Mabel and confessed some people had been misgendering the toddler.
"We have so many people saying what a lovely little boy and I just say 'yep, yep'," she said laughing.
"She's got lovely big squishable cheeks but she doesn't look like me or my husband!"
