A man has been escorted off Disneyland in California by police after he stripped naked and ran through the 'It's a Small World' ride on Sunday (US time).
Footage which has circulated online showed the man, initially wearing only boxer shorts, walking through the water ride attraction and sitting among the animatronic statues.
He was later seen drinking the canal water from the ride before being spotted completely naked at the entrance of the tunnels that begin the ride.
Subsequently, he was taken away by the Disneyland staff members and police.
The 'It's a Small World' ride is one of the theme park's oldest attractions, a slow-moving journey through different scenes celebrating international cultures.
In an Instagram post uploaded by a fellow visitor who was on the ride at the time, people could be heard shouting, "Stop! You're going to get hurt!" as the man climbed in and out of the performing statues and sat in the fake garden areas.
The man climbed through several of the attraction's interior show scenes at around 3pm on the Sunday, according to one observer who was on the ride and spoke to Entertainment Weekly (EW).
They said the ride stopped for around 20 minutes while authorities decided how best to handle the incident.
Maegan Carmona, who was on the ride at the time, told EW the man "looked worried".
"He just didn't look like he knew where he was. He looked worried. My friends and I had seen him, and it looked like he was going to jump on us. The cast member got him to sit down for a minute, but after that he continued walking in the opposite direction, behind us.
"Once he got to a different part of the ride, he ended up walking into the water and started drinking the water and ran off toward the entrance of the ride."
There has been no official comment from representatives for Disneyland and the Anaheim Police Department.
