CubaDupa is to return to Wellington in 2024.

Organisers have announced the country's biggest street festival will take place again on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 on the capital's iconic Cuba Street.

The event will include musicians, street performers, art installations, food vendors, diverse cultural experiences and circus acts.

Organisers have also announced next year's theme is 'Finding Your Wild', which will encourage festival-goers to either dress up, discover "an exciting new genre or artist", roam the streets alongside the festival's "renowned parades", or chance upon an activation that "transforms Cuba Street as you know it".

There will also be a national bodypainting competition which will include a public parade.

It has also been revealed the first-ever "Uke-a-Dupa" will take place, featuring over 20 ukulele groups throughout the festival streets which will culminate in a mass performance.

The festival's first official artist line-up will be released in late January.
