Priscilla and Saltburn star Jacob Elordi is embroiled in a police investigation after an alleged assault involving an Australian radio staffer in Sydney.

The actor, who also stars in Kissing Booth and Euphoria, allegedly got involved in an altercation with KIIS FM employee Joshua Fox, 32, outside a hotel in Sydney's east where he was socialising, according to the Sunday Telegraph

Elordi, 26, was reportedly approached by Fox - famous for crashing Married At First Sight weddings for his Instagram account MAFS Funny - and became frustrated by one of his questions.

A man was allegedly assaulted during the encounter, news.com.au reported.

"Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs," a statement from NSW police read.

"Police were told about 3:30pm on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries."

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Elordi was in his home country for the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards on the Gold Coast, where he is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the breakout Amazon hit, Saltburn. It's not known if he still plans to attend the awards.
