The Princess of Wales has reportedly thrilled royal fans with responses to their well-wishes weeks after announcing her cancer diagnosis.
Last month Kate Middleton revealed she is undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy after tests done following her major abdominal surgery in January revealed cancer had been present.
She and her husband Prince William were "enormously touched" by the messages of support in the following days, Kensington Palace announced.
But now several people who sent those messages are joyfully sharing official responses they received from the princess.
X (formerly Twitter) user Allexmarie posted a photo of the Kensington Palace card they said they were sent.
"Back in January when we were informed our beautiful Princess of Wales had undergone surgery I sent her a card with our (my family and I) sincerest best wishes for healing and of course an abundance of love," they tweeted.
"Today I received this beautiful acknowledgement and I can honestly say I shall treasure this my entire life. The envelope has Kensington Palace on the back lol hubby thought he was going to have to get his suit out for a garden party (silly him) but he is just as blown away as I am to received this beautiful, and much-treasured card.
"Continued prayers and healing to our beautiful Princess of Wales."
Many other social media posts also show the same card, which has a Kensington Palace emblem above a generic written message.
"Thank you for your kind well wishes to Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales. Your thoughtful gesture is very much appreciated," the message reads.
