Increase in opioid addiction for over 60s

Morphine, codeine, tramadol, and fentanyl are all highly addictive pain relievers known as opiates.

Now figures show growing numbers of people over the age of 60 are getting addicted. 

So what's behind the increase? 

Dr Richard Medlicott, medical director for the Royal NZ College of GPs, spoke to The AM Show.
