The question about what to have for dinner is always a tricky one, especially if you're thinking for more people than just yourself.

Now you might find it a little bit easier with the launch of Kiwi Fresh - the latest option from the local meal-delivery creators of My Food Bag.

Designed for urban couples and flatmates, the meals are a mix of 'street eats'-inspired cuisine and classic Kiwi recipes with a twist.

Each box provides fresh bowl and laneway style dinners for three nights of the week, which is great for those who like to dine out or order in a couple of times a week.

My Food Bag CEO Kevin Bowler said the service is perfect for busy couples, young families and urban professionals, and promises fun and fresh dinner time options.

"With fewer ingredients, simple preparation and easy-on-the-pocket prices, we see Kiwi Fresh appealing to those who want something delicious on the dinner table, but don't have the time to think too hard about it," he said in a statement.

"Featuring easy, café -style flavours and simple, online recipes accessed via the Kiwi Fresh website, it's like having a street-food festival at your home each week. The three days a week service enables flexible dining options to suit the 'out and about' lifestyle of busy urbanites."

Kiwi Fresh will initially be rolled out across Auckland and the new service has plans to expand to other regions soon.

A box for two people is priced at $59.99 for three meals, while three meals for four people will cost $79.99, plus $10 delivery.

Launch discount coupons are available from hotspots all around Auckland, including at Britomart Station and along Queen Street.

Deliveries start from Monday August 6. The Kiwi Fresh website will be open for orders from Wednesday July 25.
