A US gym that calls itself the 'Judgement Free Zone' apparently has its limits.

A Massachusetts man was arrested at his local Planet Fitness after allegedly stripping naked at the front desk before exercising in the nude.

USA Today reports Eric Stagno, 24, was charged with indecent exposure, lewdness and disorderly conduct on Monday (local time).

The officers who attended the incident told the New Hampshire Union Leader newspaper that the man entered the gym, "stripped down right there in front, left the clothes and belongings at the front desk, walked back and forth across the gym a couple of times and then settled in over at the yoga mats".

Bystanders reportedly said the man was performing some "provocative yoga-type poses" when he was arrested.

"Some of the comments some witnesses gave were that they felt uncomfortable, disgusted, sick, and unsafe," authorities told the newspaper.

"There were more witnesses coming forward than we could take names."

Stagno allegedly told authorities he thought the gym being a 'Judgement Free Zone' meant he could exercise nude.

He's free on bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on September 21 in Plaistow District Court.
