How to wow your friends at your next potluck dinner

Baduzzi owner Michael Dearth is here with his tips on how to wow your friends at your next potlock.

The Olive Oil Tort:

  • Flour - 325g
  • Milk - 150g
  • Sugar - 100g
  • Olive oil - 80g
  • Baking powder 25g

Method:

Like making bread in a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar and baking powder. 

Separate pot warm up gently milk & duck fat until duck fat is melted.

Add milk & duck fat to the dry ingredients. 

As you are mixing the dough add the olive oil. 

After resting the dough in the refrigerator, roll out and spread thin on baking paper.

Paint lightly with egg white. 

Sprinkle fennel seeds & sugar. 

Bake 160- 180 until golden brown.

Eat.
