'I'm in disbelief': Twin brothers to marry twin sisters in Michigan

  • 01/08/2018

Two sets of identical twins have fallen for each other and plan to marry in Michigan later this week.

Identical twin sisters Krissie and Kassie Bevier got engaged to twin brothers Nick and Zack Lewan at the same time, and both couples are now set to marry this week.

The couples are said to have hit it off on a double date. Now, they're planning to move into a two-bedroom apartment together in Fenton, a city in Michigan.

The weddings will take place at Grass Lake, Michigan, with Krissie and Zack's wedding happening on Friday, and Kassie and Nick's on Saturday, daily newspaper the Jackson Citizen Patriot reports.

"I'm in disbelief sometimes of just how everything happened," Nick Lewan told WILX-TV, reflecting on his whirlwind romance with Kassie. The pair first met at Grand Valley State University in a psychology class, according to a Snopes report.

Kassie and Nick invited their identical twins on their first date, where Krissie and Nick hit it off after meeting. The brothers then proposed to their girlfriends whilst on a trip to the Henry Ford Museum in the Michigan city Dearborn last year.

"We just flow together it makes sense," Krissie Bevier says.

"There is a special twin bond, and having someone who understands this is huge."
