A US man says he won a NZ$18,000 lottery jackpot after he noticed a recurring pattern in the numbers being drawn.
The 58-year-old Maryland man won the Keno state lottery jackpot last week.
He told Maryland Lottery officials he noticed the numbers 10, 13, 23, 36, and 38 kept showing up.
"I locked in on these five numbers months ago," he said according to UPI.
"Something said to go play those numbers. It was one of those whim things."
He bought his winning ticket at a liquor store, and was lucky enough to get a ticket selected for a double prize promotion.
He hit all five numbers in one Keno draw, and several numbers in other drawings, taking home NZ$18,000.
