A pregnant model who walked the runway in Rihanna's new Savage x Fenty lingerie show reportedly gave birth mere hours after coming off the runway.

Slick Woods, real name Simone Thompson, was showcasing the 'Umbella' singer's lingerie collection in New York on Wednesday night (local time).

TMZ reports that as soon as she walked off stage, paramedics were called to rush the 22-year-old model to hospital.

Woods gave birth to baby boy Saphir early on Thursday morning. The newborn's father is model Adonis Bosso.

She sported one of the racier looks on the runway - a black body harness with nipples covers and thigh-high embroidered stockings. Sparkling hoop earrings and a black velvet headband completed the runway look, as she strutted with one hand over her bump.

The model announced her pregnancy back in March, with an Instagram post of her lounging poolside in a striped bathing suit.

Woods was not the only model showcasing diversity on the runway. Women of many shapes, sizes and ethnicities strutted their stuff in lingerie.

Rihanna told Vogue the show was about "women being celebrated in all forms and all body types and all races and all cultures".

"It's a celebration of womanhood. I think it's a shame women have to feel insecure or self-conscious about how their bodies look. They've been taught by society that only one thing works."
