An Australian café has incurred the wrath of hundreds of high school-aged trolls - even though they'd never even visited the place.
Calmer Café in Melbourne was bombarded with negative reviews on Facebook and Google thanks to its name, which it shares with Calmer Coffee, a fictional café that appeared in a nationwide English exam.

The swathe of one-star reviews were written by students who appeared to be letting off a little steam after sitting the exam.
"Don't ever go here, unless you want burnt coffee and man buns," read one review, referencing two of the more memorable details from the exam question. Others spoke of "inane beats" and people with their eyes locked to tablet screens.
In response to the barrage of hatred, Calmer Café responded by offering a free coffee for students who referenced the now-infamous exam question.
After that post and initial media coverage, the café has now recovered its average rating from the lows it was sitting at, to a more than healthy 4.9 out of 5.
