A classifieds advert from an American father appealing for "nice NZ daughters" for his son reportedly received more than 600 responses.
Many Kiwi girls apparently wanted a piece of brothers Benjamin, Jeremy and Matthew, whose father paid for the advert without their knowledge.
The Daily Mail reports it received more than 600 responses, and Benjamin admitted the brothers went on a "few one-on-one dates".
"[New Zealand women] are very intelligent, kind, friendly people. We love their accents. They are a lot of fun, everyone we met seemed nice".
The classified ad said: "Hello Parents. We are from the States (Oregon), visiting your beautiful country.
"My wife and I have 3 wonderful, successful, handsome, alas unmarried, sons between the ages of 28-32... We are not expecting, just hoping, to introduce our sons to nice NZ daughters."
The ad goes on to say: "At the very least we'll embarrass our sons and the truth is, we do find some enjoyment in that."
Benjamin said they planned to return to New Zealand and keep in with touch with the people they met.
Matthew apparently found someone special and Benjamin hopes "that's the start of something".
But it wasn't just one-on-one dates the boys went on, their father, Neil, said the family also enjoyed family dates with Kiwis.
While he admits it was slightly embarrassing to begin with, Benjamin said he is glad his dad placed the ad in the paper.
"Everyone in New Zealand was wonderful, we had people offering to show us around and even buying us beer during our holiday," he said.
