A dispensary in Brighton is advertising for a niche role at their business - a professional spliff roller.
Hemp Earth Dispensary posted their call for a cannabis connoisseur on Facebook, asking for "the crème de la crème of Brighton based spliff rollers"
The job trial will commence on Wednesday, and with over 100 people interested, the business owners may have their work cut out for them.
- Five successful people who smoked weed
- Ngāruawāhia woman with 45 marijuana plants in garden let off with a warning
- Legalising cannabis could be worth $240m to New Zealand - top economist
It'll run more like a competition than an interview though, with applicants rolling their perfect spliffs while being timed.
"You roll, we'll time you," the company wrote on Facebook "If you're the fastest and make the prettiest spliff, we'll keep you."
Don't get too excited though - no illegal substances allowed. All spliffs will be rolled using the dispensaries "finest CDB flowers". CDB flowers are the plant material from which CDB oils and products are extracted from - they contain little to no THC.
"More than anything we wish to stress that nothing illegal is every present on the premises at any time, and attempting to being any prohibited substances on to our premises is strictly forbidden," a spokesperson for the company told The Mirror.
With only two rostered hours a week, and a pay rate of $19NZD, it's not the kind of job you can survive on.
But if you love smoking weed, and don't care about having disposable income - it could be perfect for you.
