Watch: Jordan Peterson's New Zealand fans explain why he's having such a moment

Canadian psychology lecturer Dr Jordan Peterson has a passionate worldwide following, including a devoted faction here in New Zealand.

Dr Peterson has spent the last few months touring his bestselling self-help book 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos, which offers a set of guidelines for how to live a meaningful life.

His Kiwi fans turned out in full force for his four shows in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch this past week.

Newshub went to his Saturday show at Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre to ask those attending why his message speaks to them so strongly, and why they think he's been met with such global success - as well as his fair share of controversy.
