Extraordinary Lego creations featured at Hamilton exhibition

The building block toy Lego is making the leap from children's toy to adult art.

Enthusiasts have been cramming into an exhibition in Hamilton this weekend with extraordinary creations, ranging from animals to rocket towers.

Organisers say Lego is especially good for autistic people as its therapeutic as well as teaching them teamwork and focus. Proceeds from the event are also going to Autism New Zealand.

Newshub's Adam Hollingworth went along to have a look.
