Krispy Kreme makes South Island debut

Krispy Kreme is set to roll out in Christchurch after making its debut in Auckland last year.

To mark the occasion, a pop-up stall will grace Riccarton Westfield for two weeks only.

One thousand Original Glazed doughnuts will be given away to the first Cantabrians to visit.

"It's long been our desire to bring smiles to as many Kiwis as possible by giving them the chance to enjoy a fresh Krispy Kreme doughnut," Antonio Rivera, New Zealand retail manager, said earlier this month

"Whether you're a big fan of the Original Glazed or prefer yours with a few more sprinkles, the pop- up store will ensure that Christchurch doughnut fans will be the first in the South Island to buy Krispy Kreme locally."

Twelve BP stores across the city will then host the Krispy Kreme brand, from next week.

New Zealand's first Krispy Kreme opened in Manukau, Auckland in February 2018.

Since then Krispy Kreme has opened further retail outlets in Chancery Square, Auckland and Auckland Airport's domestic terminal.
